More walks.

I'm going for walks. It's good to get out and the weather has been great. They are not particularly long walks though I do take my time when walking along the beach. I'm a bit wary of posting pictures from this app now. Or post at all. The last few posts have been messed up and I've had to fix them manually and it didn't even do any automatic HTML like line-breaks so had to do those too. A lot of unnecessary work!

Anyway. Some pictures. I'm going to take the chance.

I'm going to put the text over the pictures though I prefer to have it below.. But I hope to reduce my work load if anything goes wrong that way.

This picture I took today but it is of yesterday's route.

Yesterday's walk:

Instructions and regulations of where you can go on this path. Don't step on the crops!

That was as far as I got and then saw my neighbour on the road and had to stop and say hello to Othello

He has gotten quite big. To me it seems like he is bigger every time I see him. He was such a cute puppy. Fit in my hand once!

My planet gazing bench. It'll soon be the season for that again. It was just the equinox and soon won't have to wait hours and hours for darkness; one of the very few good things about fall and winter....

The view from the bench.

These are supposed to be morning walks but my sleep has been rather irregular. The sun is pretty low and the shadows are long...

The burrows.

Path down from the little hill.

Another path. There are little paths between the roads to make easy access to the beach from everywhere

It was a very short walk yesterday. I haven't really been eating (due to everything) and my energy levels are very low..

Today's walk:

Yet another path.

When I use the word 'coast' I imagine cliffs and 'beach' I imagine sand. This is neither. Shore?

Low tide today. Not that the difference is that big but it meant dry feet for me!

Foam! The water was really murky. Some places it was clear and there were a lot of little animals swimming around. Other places you couldn't even see the bottom even right by the edge.

Glittering! I like glitter...

There was a mysterious amount of cracked walnuts and shells on the beach. I assume some birds have been busy...

Some were green. I know of one walnut tree around but it is a bit far. Possibly there are more!

Path...

And elderberries! They are ripe. I should go pick some. Elderberry... Soup? Juice? - anyway, whatever you make from the berries (and not the flowers though that is quite nice too) - is delicious!

And that was that. Took me almost two hours today. I walked veeeery sloooowly.

Today I've felt like I'm going to an exam. You know that feeling. I have hardly slept. Meh, today.

Elderberries! I love them so. Haven't had any in years, though.

I always enjoy your walk pictures. The ones of the paths sort of remind me of the paths I like to walk near my mom's house when I'm staying there.

I like the mound icons on the sign :D

Othello is big!

Elderberries are good! I really should go out and get some. Maybe I should bring a bag or box tomorrow (I have been ordered on walks!)

Othello is very big. He has yet to knock me over... Though he could. He just likes to bounce around me, thankfully.

Lovely pictures... I love all the little paths. And I wish the lake here had all kinds of snail shells and neat things like that around, but it doesn't seem to.

I love all the shells and funny rocks of the beach. Given half a chance you would probably write paragraphs of information about a rock I just find funny or pretty, though.... I wouldn't mind reading that!

It's a compulsion... information-collecting. And then taking any chance I get to release some of the vast amount of useless information I've collected and spit it out to the rest of the world.

Oh man, I wish I had places like these to go for walks. I don't know why, but I'd kill to get close to water right now. And the paths look so lovely. And yeah, elderberries are so good. Too bad they're not really something that are easy to get here.

Ah, I am jealous of your lovely paths so close to home! We have trails along the edges of fields around here too, I like watching them change with the seasons too.

They aren't long trails or anything; they are just these little cosy paths between the little roads. Everything looks so pretty outside just now.
